David Webster is a filmmaker living in Charlottesville. His studio of actors, producers and crew is dedicated to the process of making great movies.

It begins with training local actors intensively and specifically for the camera. 

Inspired by the actors, Webster  writes full length feature digital movies.

With dedicated crew Web directs, shoots and edits each full length feature.

Webster has an extensive and successful background training and writing for actors on camera. (read his history  in the "About the Director" section)

"Over the years I had come to believe that the only decent actors go to Hollywood or New York or, if they practice their skills in the so-called "boonies," they do so only to prepare for a career in those markets. Imagine my surprise, a very pleasant one, to see Trash Town. Not only does the acting and the filmmaking come up to the highest standards anywhere, but the "local color" adds an element of wonder and astonishment: these actors, each and everyone of them in their multi-level diversity of age, character and personality, take a courageous journey outside the constricting standards imposed by the primary markets, and impose their own unique and unrestricted skills and talents as the new standard.

As a film editor in Hollywood where I edited sixteen feature films, I would love to edit a film with any and all of the actors in Webster Studio. As a film teacher with eleven years of experience at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, I am deeply impressed by the work of these filmmakers. I can only hope that this kind of work continues to grow and develop in the regional areas of the United States, thus making a powerful new contribution to the way we see and experience ourselves. "
